Beautiful Day, Iron Pigs Win!

It was a fabulous day with few clouds and highs in the low 80s. The backdrop of Coca-Cola Park was the Lehigh Valley airshow. So, in between watching the Pigs strike out Syracuse Chief batters, we enjoyed the aerobatics to our north. There was even a startling fly by of the Black Diamond Jet Team right over our heads.

We came to see baseball and it was a great day for ball. Lots of our families got to the stadium early enough to snag their “trucker cap” or Peep visor as well as watch our very own Matthew Siemon throw out the first pitch! It was a well played game by the Pigs who took the lead in the 5th and never looked back. The final score was 5-3 which made it two wins in a row for the Iron Pigs.

We had a great turnout and look forward to our own Opening Day in less than two weeks!

Thank you for including us in the Iron Pigs Game! Scott, his therapist, and I had a great time, and met up with my former coworker from Faulkner Subaru, Bob Gearhart and his wife Gabby and children Leila and Brandon who have a cotton candy/snowcone stand behind 3rd Base. Please visit their Stand! They are great people!
