MLNC Receives Non-Profit Excellence Award

jenniferFBJune 11, 2015 the Easton Area Chamber of Commerce held its 2015 Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony and presented the Miracle League of Northampton County with its Non-Profit Excellence Award. MLNC Board Member and parent of two of our players Jennifer Dietrick along with her two daughters Alex and Lauren accepted the award before over 200 Easton Area business men and women. We are very pleased to be recognized for what our league has accomplished in the short time we have been playing ball. This award is dedicated to our players, their families and the hundreds of volunteers who come to Easton Rotary Field every year to make the experience for the players extra special.

Easton Angels Continued Support

051415CheckPresentationForWebSince the Miracle League of Northampton County began, Easton Area High School’s Easton Angels have been one of our strongest supporters.  The Angels have held many fund rasiers for our league over the last several years and have come to our field many times to be true Angels in the Outfield.  Off the field they have also been involved in providing support and friendship to those with intellectual and physical disabilities within Easton High School.
At a recent game the Angels presented a check for $3,000 to our league in support of our players.  The organizers of the Angels have moved on to college and other things in life.  It is great to see that there are students who have continued to support those children with disabilities.

At the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 Orientation Day our League President and retired Director of Special Education of the Bethlehem School District Ric Agretto had the high honor of presenting the prestigious Annie Sullivan Award to our own special person and friend Amanda Sechrist.
